The winter holiday season has arrived, and with it my new personal website. After sitting on a domain name for months I finally found time to put something together. Long-term, the goal is to provide updates on my professional activities, with the occasional reference to personal events—a real old-fashioned blog.
2022 already promises to be challenging, as I’ve begun the third of six years in my academic librarian tenure process while actively refining a research agenda. I present a brief talk on the topic of a recent paper, Digital Initiatives, in January, but extensive edits are still required before publication. Then it’s on to the next thing, be it committee service or designing another project. Lather, rinse, repeat.
So it will be especially pleasant to get away for the holidays with my wife and partner Laura, visiting family and momentarily setting aside our cares and concerns. To be continued…
