The winter holiday season has arrived, and with it my new personal website. After sitting on a domain name for months I finally found time to put something together. Long-term, the goal is to provide updates on my professional activities, with the occasional reference to personal events—a real old-fashioned blog.
2022 already promises to be challenging, as I’ve begun the third of six years in my academic librarian tenure process while actively refining a research agenda. I present a brief talk on the topic of a recent paper, Digital Initiatives, in January, but extensive edits are still required before publication. Then it’s on to the next thing, be it committee service or designing another project; lather, rinse, repeat.
So it will be especially pleasant to get away for the holidays with my wife and partner Laura, visiting family and momentarily setting aside our cares and concerns. To be continued…
